Zine Making One Panel at a Time with Marty/Microverse Press: This workshop will help you break the barrier of having a complete idea or full story to tell by building your story or zine one panel at a time. 12:00-1:00, Room 102

Make a Newsletter, Share your Life with Community Print Olympia: Join us for an exploration of newsletters in zine culture with Community Print Director Kelsey Smith, collage artist Chad Yenney, and Emma MacDonald-Scott of the Undercurrents newsletter collective. We will present an overview of newsletter culture, then create newsletters together using collage materials, envelope templates, typewriters, and other provided supplies. 1:00-2:30, Room 101

Cut it Out! Papercut Illustration for Zines with Rimona: Learn how to incorporate images into your zines without feeling the pressure of being “good” at drawing! In this one-hour workshop, participants will learn how to use paper, scissors, and glue to create papercut illustrations that can be scanned or copied directly into a zine! Participants will create their own illustrations to contribute to a collaborative anthology zine. Receive a PDF anthology after the zine fest! 2:00-3:00, Room 102
